There are currently two groups, and you are welcome to form more. Everyone is welcome to attend open study buddy groups. Our two open study buddy groups use the SAME NUMBER AND CODE. 1. Soul Work: Reading: Chapter 2 in the AA Big Book, "There is a Solution." Page 17, paragraph 2 "Unlike the feelings..." to page 18, end of first paragraph. Definitions: Look up "annihilation" Group workshop question: #6 below, write on the statement, "You will get what you need and what you want from every meeting if you get out of yourself and give service to the group and others." Buddy Questions: Q1: Do you have joy in your life around your sobriety? Q2: Are you like the passengers that got saved from a shipwreck? Q3: Has the joy somewhat subsided? Q4: When you go to a meeting, do you feel the group is keeping you away from the common peril of relapse? How do you feel when you go to your fellowships? Q5: Write about this: The most important person in an AA meeting is the newcomer. Q6: Write about this: You will get what you need and what you want from every meeting if you get out of yourself and give service to the group and others. Q7: Have you found a common solution? Have you found a way out? Is that way out something upon which everyone would agree? Q8: Give me an example of a harmonious action that happened in your groups or your buddy group. Q9: Give an example of something that was not harmonious in your groups or buddy group. How did you handle it? Were you able to be a positive influence? Q10: Do you believe that this big book carries the solution to those who suffer from alcoholism? Q11: Do you believe you have an illness and that it is an illness unlike any other illness? Q12: Do you look at your illness in a different way than someone else with your illness? Q13: How would you rate yourself sober on page 18 first paragraph? Q14: What to you are “all the things worth while in life?” END
