There are currently two groups, and you are welcome to form more. Everyone is welcome to attend open study buddy groups. Our two open study buddy groups use the SAME NUMBER AND CODE. 1. Page13:3 ‘My schoolmate visited me, and I fully acquainted him with my problems and deficiencies. ..’ until Page 14:1 ‘Simple, but not easy; a price had to be paid. It meant destruction of self-centredness. I must turn in all things to the Father of Light who presides over us all. Workshop writing: Q1. Write about what you think is the meaning of the destruction of self-centredness. Give an example. Q2. How are you doing with your step one, your sobriety? Are you comfortable with the level of what you are doing for your sobriety? Has a little bit of resting on your laurels crept in? Or are you working harder than ever before? Take the temperature on your sobriety. Simple, but not easy: a price had to be paid. Write this down: The price of sobriety is that I cannot do and have everything that I want. And I cannot be in control. The control belongs to God. Q3. Do you believe that and how does it make you feel? Are you willing? If you are not willing to pay the price, what can you add or take away to help you be willing? Give an example of paying the price of sobriety. Write this down: The price for sobriety is that you are willing to destroy your self-centredness. Q4. Write what you think is the meaning of destruction of self-centredness. Give an example. ends
