This Week's Soul Work: Opening reading: "As Bill Sees It" page 40. Workshop text reference: Began in AA's "Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions," Step 5, p. 58 first paragraph. 1. What’s your definition of pride? Give me an example of when you were prideful. 2. Give me your definition of humility. Give me an example of when you moved a muscle and were able to take an action to be humble. 3. When you don’t want to tell someone something, what is your action plan to be? Who can you call, talk to or text? 4. Look up “sincere.” 5. Three steps of recognizing our deficiencies: we need to be able to see it, we need to be able to admit it to God, to ourselves and another human being, and we need an action plan. If there is anything you need to put through these three steps, write it down now. 6. Refer to p. 58: "All of us saw, for example, that we lacked honesty and tolerance, that we were beset at times by attacks of self-pity or delusions of personal grandeur." Can you relate to that?
