Page 17: Give an example of hiding a bad motive underneath a good one. 2. Page 48: What can prevent emotional hangovers? 3. Page 54: Write about your experience with "defective relations with other human beings have nearly always been the immediate cause of our woes, including our alcoholism." 4. Have you tried to be "all things to all people" in your own life? 4. Have you ever wanted to align a 12-step program name to any related facility or outside enterprise? 5. Ask someone -- sponsor, close friends, family -- how they see you. 2. Write this down for reference: Does it need to be said, does it need to be said now, and am I the one to say it? 3. Do you have any defect that you talk about a lot? What are you really doing about it? 4. Can you postpone dealing with some of your problems indefinitely? 5. Look up "bluffing." 6. What would you have to tweak in your way of life in order for that to happen? 3. Are you too busy to take care of your health practices? 4. Are we striving for a self-determined objective or are we striving to know God's will and work toward it? 5. How can we accept the entire implication of Step 6, and what is that implication? 6. Is there any area of your life where you need to take a Step One? 7. Page 68: "The only urgent thing is that we make a beginning, and keep trying." Are you willing to make a beginning? 8. Write about the idea of striving for perfection in our union with God vs. striving for perfection in all our affairs. 9. Write on the slogan, "I'm perfectly imperfect." 10.
