Buddy Questions: 1. Have you used the Big Book in a way that will comfort and inform you about other alcoholics and addicts? 2. If you were to see a doctor or psychiatrist, would they deal with a 100% honest person? Would you tell them the truth? Are you that open when people come into your life? Have you reached that point in recovery yet? 3. Write about DENIAL, “don’t even know I am lying.” 4. Do you know that being completely honest is a huge problem? Would you say that 100 percent honesty would be your “number one” in your own recovery? 5. Write this down: Wherever I am today is a start. What can I be honest about that I haven’t been honest about before? 6. Honesty does not always please other people. Are you willing? 7. How are you doing in owning your own recovery? 8. How have you done in the last month to win the confidence of another person in recovery? END
